The BigBendWorks.com project is open to any public and/or private entity that offers help and benefits to displaced employees. To become a resource, please follow the instructions below. Partners of the BigBendWorks.com project have the right to deny any postings deemed inappropriate or outside of our guidelines to the site. Thank you again for your interest in helping displaced employees in our region.

Resource Instructions

Registering:

1)    Go to www.bigbendworks.com and scroll to the bottom of page. Click on the “Add A Resource” link.
2)    Click on Register and on the next screen will be the registration form.
3)    Create a username and complete the information and click on submit.
4)    You will be taken back to the main page.

 

Adding a Link:

1)    Go to www.bigbendworks.com and scroll to the bottom of page. Click on the “Add a Resource” link.
2)    Enter your username and password that you created when you registered and click login.
3)    You will be taken to start page to post and edit your links.
4)    Click on “Posts” at the top left of the page which will take you to all of the posts on the site.
5)    Click on “Add New” at the top left of the page.
6)    Here is where you will enter the link information:

  1. Title of the link (this should be a short explanation about the link ex: Training Classes)
  2. In the text box below the title, enter a brief description of services: This is short description of the benefits of the link.
  3. Scroll through the Categories and Subcategories on the right and choose which subcategory under which you would like the listing posted. You must select a subcategory only. DO NOT PICK A MAIN CATEGORY.

Note:  If you would like to make a blog posting, select the “Information” subcategory

7)    Once you complete the information, click on “Submit for Review”.
Note: It may take up to 48 hours for the postings to show up live on the website.

Repeat steps 5 – 7 to continue to add additional links.

OR

1)    If have already logged on to www.bigbendworks.com, scroll down to the bottom of the page. Click “Add a Resource”.

2)   Here is where you will enter the link information:

  1. Title of the link (this should be a short explanation about the link ex: Training Classes)
  2. Scroll through the Categories and Subcategories below and choose which subcategory under which you would like the listing posted. You must select a subcategory only. DO NOT PICK A MAIN CATEGORY.
    Note:
     If you would like to make a blog posting, select the “Information” subcategory
  3. In the section below, enter the link’s web address
  4. Finally in the large text box, enter a brief description of services: This is short description of the benefits of the link

To Edit Posts:

1)    Go to www.bigbendworks.com and scroll to the bottom of page. Click on the “Add A Resource” link.
2)    Enter your username and password that you created when you registered and click login
3)    You will be taken to start page to post and edit your links.
4)    Click on “Posts” at the top left of the page which will take you to all of the posts on the site.
5)    Find your post and click on Edit below it. Here is where you will make the change. Click on submit
